Indiana Secretary of Commerce Michael S. “Mickey” Maurer is featured speaking about the inability of faulty, fatally-flawed and ineffective “smoking rooms” proposals to produce meaningful health and economic benefits for communities. In his testimony before the Fishers, Indiana town council, Maurer urges municipal leaders to defeat an ordinance with “smoking rooms” and to come back at a later date and adopt a smokefree law that truly makes venues covered entirely smokefree.
